Our raw Manuka 7+ Honey originates from Island Hills Station, a 7000 hectare working station with over 1800 hives, cattle, and sheep. The station is nestled at the base of the Southern Alps of New Zealand, a breathtaking mountain range with an approximately 500km worth of native bush, waterfalls, and frozen in blue-white glaciers. The crisp clean air and rugged terrain provides a haven for many of New Zealand’s native fauna and flora.
Manuka honey is produced solely from the nectar collected from the Manuka bush, a plant nativeonly to New Zealand. Manuka honey is rich in antibacterial properties and is known to heal wounds, skin ailments, sore throats, tooth decay, and digestive issues. Manuka honey is known worldwide as natures all-purpose remedy.
Processing can harm some of the natural properties of honey leaving you with an inferior product. It is believed that by keeping the honey raw, we leave the honey in its most natural state, just as nature intended.
Found in kitchens across New Zealand, Manuka honey has long been part of New Zealand’s staple diet. Spread on toast, mixed into drinks or eaten straight from the spoon, there are many ways to enjoy the taste of this liquid gold. Alternatively, place a jar into your first-aid kit for when you will need it most.
Bio-Mer’s Manuka 7+ Honey is processed in accordance with New Zealand’s Ministry for Primary Industries requirements and has been independently verified for its quality.
